Evidence of global warming is right in front of us, but we can’t see it. Global warming has been going on for decades, but we just started becoming aware of it in about the late 1980"s. In the past 40 years scientists have said that the temperature of the earth has risen by 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Natural processes supposedly caused the earth’s climate to change. Scientist have predicted that the earth’s temperature will increase between 2.00 to 11.5 degrees Fahrenheit by 2100. Scientist have said that the most common reason of global warming is the green house effect that is caused by humans. The green house affect traps certain gasses in the atmosphere which traps heat from the sun more easily, causing the earth to get warmer. The heat trapping gasses are called green house gasses. some of the gasses are methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and many industrial gasses. The gas with the most lethal effect on the Earth's o-zone layer is carbon dioxide.
